04 / About

About

I grew up around cars. My family has a shop in Florida, and working on cars and mechanical systems has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. That is where I learned to take a car down to bare metal and build it back up, first on our 1970 Camaro and now on my own 1964 Beetle at home in Newfoundland. At Memorial I study mechanical engineering, and in March 2026 I helped found Formula MUN, which I now lead. On a work term I want to learn how an automotive company takes a part from design through testing and into production, at a scale a student team and a home garage cannot reach.
